One Magazine is fully committed to giving back to the environment and running the publication as ethically as possible. We are committed to zero waste production processes to reduce our impact on the planet.
Printing
As an annual print publication, we understand the implications of producing and distributing a printed product. With those environmental factors in mind, we practice small batch printing and publish thoughtfully using FSC Certified paper with soy-based inks.
Shipping
Shipping materials
100% Recycled Corrugated Pads and boxes – 100% recycled content and 95% post-consumer waste, plastic free, curbside recyclable, naturally biodegradable.
Algae printed water-activated carton sealing tape – Recyclable, renewable, water-activated corn starch adhesive. All our packaging materials are purchased from EcoEnclose.
Additional materials
Bloomin Signature seeded paper (Wildflowers) – Fully biodegradable, compostable, and plantable, Certified B- Corp, Made in the USA. Made from un-dyed, 100% post-consumer/ post-industrial recycled paper, where it’s broken down into paper pulp that started as FSC paper.

One Magazine is a proud member of the United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network. The network plays a key role in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by connecting industry stakeholders, media, governments, and UN entities. The UN Fashion and Lifestyle Network, led by the United Nations Office for Partnerships and the Fashion Impact Fund, stands as a catalyst for sustainable development within the fashion and lifestyle sectors. In 2024, we donated $1,708.31 to organizations including, FabScrap, One Love Community, The Audre Lorde Project, Friends of The Congo, Amazon Frontlines, First Nations Fashion + Design, and Kaninde.
After our Issue 20 launch party, Groundcycle diverted 138 pounds of grapes, food, and florals from landfill. Leftovers were donated to a local community fridge and florals were composted through Groundcycle. December 2024

Giving back
We are proud supporters of 1% of the Planet and Stripe Climate by contributing 1% of our revenue to fund carbon removal.
